Shai Gilgeous-Alexander proved to the world that he’s a certified superstar last season, earning enough MVP votes to finish second in behind three-time MVP Nikola Jokić. Recognizing this, Converse not only made him the face of the brand’s Weapon campaign — reintroducing the silhouette originally worn by the likes of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson — but they announced that SGA would be receiving his own signature shoe in 2025 too.
We connected with SGA during NBA All-Star Weekend, where he revealed his own take on the Weapon — a PE featuring a plush off-white and maroon upper. Now, a new pink and white take on the Weapon by SGA is set to drop this month. Starting with a white leather upper, the sneaker proceeds to don a metallic pink at the midfoot and branding, arriving with a cracked leather texture. From there, a vintage-inspired off-white adorns the tongue and the entirety of the stitched sole unit.
At the time of writing, Converse hasn’t officially announced the release of this white and pink Converse Weapon by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Stay tuned for updates as it’s currently expected to drop on August 15 via Converse at a starting price of $130 USD.
