Teddy Santis and New Balance have been hard at work this year, assembling carefully-curated footwear across the MADE in USA line, as well as via Santis’ label Aimé Leon Dore, which just hosted a pre-order for three 860v2s and has two 990v4s on the way. Looking closer at the MADE in USA division, it just hosted a Paris-exclusive launch in celebration of the Olympic Games taking place there.
Now, Teddy Santis and the rest of the MADE in USA team are gearing up for the 990v6 to drop in two gray colorways that have just been spotted. Both return to the sneaker’s typical suede, mesh and nubuck styling, with the first pair favoring various grays atop an off-white base. As for the other, a taupe hue coats the upper’s midsection while a darker gray lands at the mudguard and tongue.
At the time of writing, New Balance has not yet announced the release details regarding these 990v6 colorways and the August MADE in USA collection that it is likely to accompany. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect the two shoes to arrive on August 15 via New Balance at a price of $210 USD each.
