It’s the third year of the New Balance 990v6 and the American sportswear brand continues to serve it up in new looks. Aside from its in-line launches, the 990v6 has already been the subject of collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore and Joe Freshgoods this year. Now, it’s gearing up for the Olympic Games by taking on a “Paris” colorway that pays homage to the international competition’s host city this year.
In our first look at the new pair, the 990v6 combines mesh, leather and suede detailing throughout its upper. An off-white adorns the base as two tones of brown hit the overlays. A forest green accents the “N” logos while a rich red appears at the lining. Supporting the sneaker, the 990v6’s sizable midsole carries a crisp off-white while a black outsole completes the look.
At the time of writing, New Balance has yet to officially announce the release of this “Paris” colorway of the 990v6 and the other pairs it will be accompanying during the MADE in USA line’s next drop. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect it to arrive on July 26 via New Balance and select retailers around the $200 USD price point.
