New Balance MADE in USA's Latest Seasonal Drop Features the 993 and 990v6
Presenting spring-ready colorways of “Chive,” “Purple” and “True Camo.”
Since taking over New Balance’s lifestyle-oriented MADE in USA line in 2021, Teddy Santis has been consistent in producing seasonal arrangements across the brand’s key silhouettes. Earlier this year, this included “Artic Grey” and “Macadamia Nut” iterations of the New Balance 990v4. Now, the 993 and 990v6 have been utilized for the division’s latest seasonal launch.
Looking first at the 993, colorways of “Chive” and “Purple” have been assembled — and were notably featured in this week’s edition of best footwear drops. These two iterations of the sneaker see a combination of mesh underlays and nubuck detailing featured across its upper, hosting their respective spring-ready shades. Below the upper of both shoes, an ABZORB-based midsole sees white turn to off-white towards the heel of the sneaker. As for the 990v6, it dons a makeup of suede and synthetic overlays, resting atop its mesh base neatly. The olive-colored “True Camo” is a versatile presentation of the 990 series’ newest iteration and is supported by an off-white midsole.
Release for the New Balance MADE in USA 993 “Chive” and “Purple,” as well as the New Balance MADE in USA 990v6 “True Camo,” is set to take place on May 2 via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $220 USD per pair.
