Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to Receive Signature Shoe With Converse Next Year

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has quickly ascended the NBA’s ranks to become a certified superstar this season, contending with the league’s top talent in the MVP race as he led the Oklahoma City Thunder to winning the Western Conference. We connected with SGA, who serves as the face of Converse Basketball, during NBA All-Star Weekend earlier this year to discuss the return of the Converse Weapon.
Now, just two months later, it has been announced that he is now taking the reins as the creative director of Converse Basketball. In addition to the new title, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that SGA will be receiving his own signature shoe with Converse at some point in 2025.
