Nike Serves up the Air Tech Challenge 2 in Original "Hot Lava" Colorway
To coincide with two LeBron 16 colorways releasing this week.
Andre Agassi‘s rather iconic signature sneaker, the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2, returns to form this week to coincide with the release of two LeBron 16 colorways that take design cues from the tennis-ready model.
The last time we saw the Air Tech Challenge 2 in its popular “Hot Lava” theme was just three years ago. Since then, it has served as inspiration for a bevy of Swoosh silhouettes, like the Air Max Plus. Here, for its 2019 retro release, the once-athletic-now-lifestyle sneaker features all of its original 1990 design elements, right on down to the “Nike Air” branding on each heel.
The Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 “Hot Lava” will hit select retailers, including Nike’s SNKRS platform, on May 24 with a price tag of $130 USD.
