Australian-American actress Nicole Kidman has become synonymous with murderous television. From Big Little Lies to The Undoing, Kidman has a knife to our throats and stars in Netflix‘s latest thriller, The Perfect Couple.
Guided by Danish director Susanne Bier, she brings her suspicious expertise to The Perfect Couple — melding her works in Bird Box and The Night Manager for a truly cynical experience. Based in the hyper-wealthy boroughs of Nantucket, Kidman plays famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury as she plans her son’s glamorous wedding to Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson). While preparing for the party of a lifetime, an unexpected body washes up on the shore of their lavish beach house, and the police interrogate the family under suspicion of murder. Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, and Meghann Fahy star as additional family members.
