On the heels of her new album, Crash, which was released on June 21, Kehlani has finally made it over to NPR’s Tiny Desk.

With the performance, the Oakland-born singer/songwriter brought her signature R&B sounds and smooth vocals to the intimate, yet popular live music series. In the performance, Kehlani starts off slow and smooth with “Night Like This” from her 2019 mixtape, While We Wait. Across the set, Kehlani also performed “Distraction” from 2017’s SweetSexySavage, “The Way” from 2015’s You Should Be Here, “Can I” from 2020’s It Was Good Until It Wasn’t and “After Hours” from Crash.

“Thank you for coming and turning into my Tiny Desk. It’s been a long time coming,” said Kehlani after performing ‘Nights Like This.’ “I definitely know I’m overdue for doing this, so thank you for making sure I was able to get here this far along in my process. I’m just grateful and I hope you enjoy the rest of it.”

Aside from stopping by Tiny Desk, Kehlani is set to kick off her Crash World Tour on September 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With help from special guests Flo and Anycia, the tour is set to 32 stops in North America before continuing.
