Hypegolf Label launches capsule collection designed by Dongjoon Lim of POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF)
Hypegolf Label, a contemporary golf lifestyle brand, is excited to unveil a capsule designed by Dongjoon Lim, co-founder of the South Korean menswear brand, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF). Blending the best of both worlds, the collection combines (PAF)’s iconic design language of subtle sportswear inspirations and technical designs, with Hypegolf’s modern twist to traditional golf clothing, focusing on functionality and comfort. The collection will make its debut release at Galleria Department Store in Seoul on April 10, followed by a global launch on April 18, 10PM HKT on hbx.com and at HBX Hong Kong retail store on April 25.
Designed by Dongjoon Lim, the collection is inspired by the dynamic movement and fluidity of a golf swing. A unique curved silhouette takes center stage throughout the collection, and features 11 styles made from premium technical fabric in a primarily monochrome color palette. Offering a versatile of predominantly unisex pieces, the collection includes headwear, outerwear, polos, t-shirts, bottoms, skorts and a duffle bag.
Highlighted pieces include the Crew Neck Woven Track Top that features (PAF)’s signature asymmetric diagonal design on the collar, with elasticated cuffs and drawstring at the hem. The Perforated Windbreaker is lightweight and water-resistant, made with a Cordura stretchy nylon fabric overlay for durability and adaptability to varying weather conditions. It includes an elastic string and hidden stopper inside the side of the hood for functionality, and an adjustable elastic string and stopper at the hem for a personalized and comfortable fit.
The collection also features a three-way collaboration ROBA Golf Head Cover designed by Dongjoon Lim and monzee, a Japanese brand that specializes in curating golf head covers and accessories. The Head Cover showcases monzee’s signature donkey shape, handcrafted in Japan using the Cordura Nylon fabric selected by Dongjoon Lim. With a waterproof coating on the fabric, the head cover combines practicality with a unique aesthetic.
