Hypedrive’s CARS & COFFEE+ event brought out Southern California's best automotive builds
Hypebeast, the leading global platform for contemporary culture and lifestyle, teamed up with local premium car culture brand Brekkie Car Club for its inaugural Hypedrive CARS & COFFEE+ event at the food market-turned-venue Rodeo 39 Public Market, Stanton on July 6, 2024. The event showcased the best automotive builds in Southern California and attracted a noticeable response from car enthusiasts, creating a unique automotive experience for Hypedrive’s community.
Hypedrive’s CARS & COFFEE+ event celebrated OEM+ styling, a concept of emphasizing the core elements of cars while incorporating original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts with additional upgrades, enhanced driving capabilities and added personal style. This event brought a fresh perspective to the gathering by blending style and curation into the cars and coffee culture. It provided a unique opportunity for brands to connect with the Hypedrive community, showcasing their offerings and fostering meaningful conversations among car enthusiasts and neighbors, all within a lively atmosphere, complemented by delectable coffee.
With limited parking of 300 spots filling up quickly, and the venue overflowing with guests parking in neighboring lots and even triple parking within Rodeo 39, the event drew a significant crowd. Over 500 cars were estimated to be showcased, with more than 1,000 spectators and attendees joining the event throughout the day.
A wide array of vendors saw unprecedented attendance and visitations to their booths, promoting both their fashion brands and apparel lines, as well as automotive parts companies and manufacturers. Notable vendors included Adaptiv Wheels, Capas, Coffee Dose, Collegium, Crepes Avenue, EDO Performance, EVO61 Wheels, Formawerx, Forged Club, Ghostworx, Illest, OIWA, Redline Synthetic Oil, Rim Ryderz, Studio13, Studio RSR, Tenori, Vorsteiner, and WNTD.
