Fleetwood Mac to Release LP of Recordings From 1982’s ‘Mirage Tour’
Featuring six unreleased live tracks.
Fleetwood Mac will be coming out with an album of recordings from its 1982 Mirage Tour. The run saw the band travel across the US in support of its 13th studio LP, Mirage. It also marked guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham’s final tour with the band.
Releasing digitally, as well as in vinyl and CD form via Rhino, the Mirage Tour ‘82 album specifically contains recordings from two nights of the band’s shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 21 and 22.
While select cuts from those concerts have appeared on the band’s past compilation albums, the new release will feature six previously unheard recordings from the show on October 21. Listeners will also hear live versions of familiar fan favorites, including “Landslide,” “Don’t Stop” and “Never Going Back Again.”
Last year, Fleetwood Mac put out a live album of recordings from a 1977 tour in support of its 11th LP, Rumors.
Fleetwood Mac’s Mirage Tour ‘82 album is out on CD, vinyl and digitally on September 20.
