Christopher Ward Partners With Andrew Morgan Watches for a Red Bel Canto

UK-based watch brand Christopher Ward has teamed up with Andrew Morgan, the creative mind behind The Talking Hands YouTube channel for a time-limited collaboration. The C1 Bel Canto “The Red One,” a bold and playful reimagining of Christopher Ward’s iconic timepiece that’s imbued with Morgan’s whimsical spirit.
Attired in Grade 5 Titanium with a 41mm case size, the watch draws the eye with its intense red style that Morgan describes as “redder than a Brit in Marbella.” So why this color? According to the watch’s official webpage, Morgan has always been a fan of the color, which reminds him of Ferrari as well as his favorite Swiss milk chocolate truffle.
To show off the red dial, all other colors have been omitted from the watch face. The usual jewels from the movement have also been swapped for colorless sapphires. Over onto the caseback, Andrew Morgan’s logo appears at the center as an embossed decoration.
The straps are provided by Delugs, with the primary choice a crisp-white rubber cut-to-size option. Alternative options are also provided, offering the Delugs Grey Alcantara Signature strap or Christopher Ward’s classic Bader bracelet.
With a price tag of £3,195 GBP, the timepiece is only available to pre-order via Christopher Ward’s website from June 27 to July 4, 2024.
