The Air Jordan 6 "Olympic" Returns For This Week's Best Footwear Drops
Look out for the There Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low, Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 and more to arrive as well.
All eyes are on Paris as this year’s Olympic Games continue to take place in the French capital. Elsewhere in the world, the cycle of sneaker releases continues to spin as Jordan Brand, Goods & Services, Nike, MSCHF, adidas, Reebok and New Balance are all set to drop notable designs this week. However, before we dive into what 10 sneakers you should have on your radar this time, let’s take a look back at all of the key headlines since our last edition of best footwear drops.
Looking first at features, we kicked off the week by sitting down with Nigel Sylvester to chat about his Air Jordan 4 RM collaboration that is dedicated to his grandmother — discussing his childhood, sneakers and, of course, biking, while also officially unveiling the project’s second colorway. Later on, we celebrated the opening ceremony of the Olympics by revisiting the best Olympic-themed sneakers of all time.
As for the traditional news, Nike served up two major headlines. First, it presented Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Giannis Freak 6, which is set to launch in August. From there, it revealed the 55-shoe “Electric Pack” for the Olympic Games. Early looks at this year’s Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” and the Nike LeBron 22 were also served up.
Looking to the Jumpan-related updates, first looks at the PSG x Air Jordan 1 Low OG and Air Jordan 13 “Midnight Navy” hit the net. We also received word that next year’s rumored Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Bred” may cost $250 USD. A Ma Maniére was a focal point with a first look at its Air Jordan 4 “Fossil Stone” joined by official imagery of its Air Jordan 3 “Black/Violet Ore.” Rounding out the Jordan Brand notes, updated previews of the Air Jordan 4 “Fear” and Air Jordan 5 “Reverse Metallic” were shared.
Elsewhere in the industry, PUMA announced that Salehe Bembury is designing the next PUMA Hoops signature shoe and is helping recruit the brand’s next signature athlete. Another Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 990v4 colorway popped up while a GOLF WANG x Clarks Wallabee completed the lineup of major reveals.
Now that you’re caught up on the latest happenings in the sneaker space, let’s go ahead and dive into what 10 sneaker releases you should consider copping this week, starting with the Air Jordan 3 “Wings.” Once you make your way through the list, don’t forget to hit up HBX to shop styles that are available now.

Release Price: $210 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: We’re quickly approaching the 10th anniversary of the Jordan Brand Wings Scholars Program, which started in 2015 as an initiative to support high school students via scholarships and resources. This year, the brand’s “Wings” colorway adorns the Air Jordan 3 and was designed by a 2025 Wings Scholar who celebrates the “Rose City” — her hometown of Portland, Oregon. The floral rendition of the shoe begins with a white leather base that is joined by an elephant print mudguard, floral denim layers and a translucent heel tab that hosts a rose graphic.
18 East x Goods & Services Mule
Release Date: July 30
Release Price: $280 USD
Where to Buy: 18 East and Goods & Services
Why You Should Cop: New York City’s 18 East has setup a temporary outpost over in Venice, California and has embraced the west coast spirit by teaming up with Los Angeles’ Goods & Services for a collaborative mule design based on Goods & Services’ new silhouette it introduced in April. A black suede upper has been paired with vegetable-tanned leather at the aluminum buckle-equipped strap. A removable shroud is also included while the lining favors a lambskin leather finish. As for the sole unit, it leverages both Vibram’s Sphike midsole and outsole to ensure ample durability and comfort.
Nike SB Dunk Low “Burnt Sunrise”
Release Date: July 30
Release Price: $115 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: As fall begins to creep into view, autumnal palettes are starting to become more common. For Nike SB, it has now prepared its SB Dunk Low in a “Burnt Sunrise” that channels a fall-ready red-orange hue across its suede upper. From there, “Vintage Green” enlivens the suede Swooshes, as well as the heel and tongue branding elements. Rounding out the new colorway, an all-gum sole unit brings the look together.
MSCHF Flipped Flop
Release Date: July 30
Release Price: $450 USD
Where to Buy: MSCHF
Why You Should Cop: MSCHF — the design collective of rulebreakers — is set to shake up the footwear scene once again. This time around, the brand has put its own spin on summer slip-ons by creating the Flipped Flop. Elevating a traditional pair of slides into a heel, its rear extends into another slide-shaped end that reaches up and around one’s legs. If you’re looking to elevate your slip-on game, this is the pair to do so — both figuratively and literally.
Dime x adidas Stan Smith “White/Green”
Release Date: July 31
Release Price: $130 USD
Where to Buy: HBX
Why You Should Cop: The adidas Stan Smith has stood in the shadow of the Samba across recent seasons, however, Montréal-based skateboarding brand Dime has helped remedy this by putting its own twist on the shoe, which is now set to arrive via HBX. Drawing inspiration from the imaginary sport of “Skateball” — a hybrid of tennis and skateboarding — curved linework adorns the white leather upper. From there, green enters the mix at the heel and tongue’s co-branding, recreating the iconic “White/Green” composition of the Stan Smith.
There Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low
Release Date: July 31
Release Price: $135 USD
Where to Buy: There Skateboards
Why You Should Cop: Another key Nike SB Dunk Low launch to look out for is the long-awaited collaboration with There Skateboards. Leveraging the artwork of There founder Jeff Cheung, the sneaker is presented in “Anthracite” and “Gorge Green,” with its upper sporting a hairy suede material composition. Cheung’s art adorns the overlays, tongue branding, sockliner, heel branding and is celebrated with a special set of dubraes.
Hed Mayner x Reebok Classic Leather & BB5600 Cut
Release Date: July 31
Release Price: $300 USD to $320 USD
Where to Buy: HBX
Why You Should Cop: Hed Mayner’s Reebok partnership has served as an entry point to the designer’s sophisticated design language for several seasons. Now, he’s looked again to the Classic Leather and BB5600 Cut, crafting three unique finishes that are set to hit HBX this week. Looking first at the Classic Leather, it carries an oversized midfoot strap in place of its lacing system while favoring an “Olive” finish that pairs a saturated military green with an aged brown. As for the BB5600 Cut, its raw edges arrive in monochromatic finishes of “Washed Beige” and “Washed White,” with both featuring co-branding at the tongue tag and heel.
Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 990v6 “Prom Blue” and “Paris Red”
Release Date: August 1
Release Price: $220 USD
Where to Buy: Joe Freshgoods
Why You Should Cop: Joe Freshgoods took to Paris to bring forth his two-part project involving the New Balance 990v6. Crafting colorways of “Prom Blue” and “Paris Red,” the two launched exclusively in the city and are now set to drop via Joe Freshgoods this week. Both pairs have been presented in monochromatic makeovers that leverage a mixed material build of suede, nubuck and mesh throughout the upper. Co-branding arrives at the heel, tongue and sockliner to complete each pair.
Air Jordan 6 “Olympic”
Release Date: August 3
Release Price: $200 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: It’s been 24 years since Jordan Brand prepared the Air Jordan 6 for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, dressing it in a USA-themed colorway of red, white and blue. Now, after revisiting the design for the 2012 Games in London, it’s been recreated once again with all of its key details for the 2024 Games. “White” and “Midnight Navy” share space across the leather upper as “Varsity Red” accents are served at the heel, tongue and outsole.
