The Bentley Record Room Is the Epitome of Music Hospitality
Located at Manchester’s Co-op Live, the UK’s biggest music and entertainment venue.
Bentley has just unveiled its most exclusive luxury member’s club: The Bentley Record Room. The intimate lounge has been designed by the Bentley Motors Design Team at Co-op Live; Manchester’s latest, 23,500-capacity, music and entertainment arena based on Manchester City’s Etihad Campus.
Having officially opened its doors on May 14, the Co-op Live Arena is now the largest music arena in the UK. The project, which has since injected £350m GBP of private investment into the local area, was launched by Oak View Group (OVG) and the Co-op — alongside private investment from Harry Styles — and aims to rival some of the world’s most iconic venues, from the likes of New York’s Madison Square Garden to London’s O2 arena.
For Bentley, the automotive powerhouse is ensuring its class oozes throughout Britain’s latest entertainment hub. Its new 100-capacity club offers nothing but intimacy and luxury for music fans, while also supplying high-end dining options, a private host and waiter service, designated parking, and a VIP entrance to the venue. Its classy interior also replicates the custom finishes and designs of its cars, with the space including low carbon Beluga leather seating and expertly crafted Bentley Home furniture, created in partnership with Luxury Living Group.
“We have created an intimate, exclusive club that speaks to the authenticity of the Bentley brand in its execution of luxury and craftsmanship, all whilst elevating the sensory experience for its luxe members,” Chris Cooke, Head of Design Collaborations at Bentley Motors said. “Our finished design gives unparalleled acoustic clarity, whilst naturally incorporating signature design details seen from the locally sourced wool acoustic diamonds to the graceful walnut veins within the stage. Each detail harmoniously contributes to a memorable experience.”
Meanwhile, The Bentley Record Room’s intimate live music provides some of the most immersive live entertainment in the city of Manchester. The small stage — which on Hypebeast’s visit to the venue, was taken over by laid-back acoustic guitars and pianos — was installed in the room to encourage the Co-op Live’s headliners to provide a little extra for Bentley’s attendees after concerts, with the room’s acoustics promising nothing but high-quality and crisp audio, designed to be enclosed throughout the space.
