As football clubs worldwide reveal their new season kits, Manchester United and adidas have unveiled a striking away uniform for 2024/25 that pays homage to the club’s iconic ’90s era.
The jersey’s standout feature is its navy-blue base adorned with a repeating circular “M” pattern, evoking memories of beloved retro designs. This textural graphic creates a dynamic visual effect that’s sure to catch the eye both on the pitch and in the stands.
Silver accents add a touch of modernity, appearing on the adidas logo, club crest and sponsor insignia. The Manchester United Devil emblem on the back of the collar serves as a subtle nod to the club’s identity, rounding out the thoughtful design. The adidas’ signature three stripes grace the shoulders, complementing the overall aesthetic.
Sam Handy, adidas Vice President of Design, emphasized the kit’s connection to the club’s heritage and its home city. He noted that the design aims to honor Manchester United’s past while incorporating contemporary elements that will make it stand out in today’s football landscape.
