Players Go Back to the Apocalypse’s Beginning ‘A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead’ Video Game
Three years after it was announced, the game has received its first trailer.
Nearly three years after A Quiet Place video game was announced, the project has officially gotten its first trailer. Originally, the game was slated to release in 2022 but the studio behind it, Stormind Games, was largely quiet over the years and didn’t seem to have any concrete updates on the title.
The single-player horror survival A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is now confirmed to be arriving later this year. A story trailer for the game kicks off on Day 1 of the horrific events, as fiery orbs shoot across the sky before fast-forwarding to Day 105.
Communicating using hand signals, players control protagonist Alex in her fight to survive alongside her boyfriend Martin. A former college student, Alex discovers she’s pregnant.
The trailer focuses more on the narrative rather than actual gameplay but players can expect to see more on the latter front in the coming months.
A prequel to the original film called A Quiet Place: Day One has just hit theaters, taking viewers back to the beginning of the alien invasion.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will be released for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Watch the game’s first trailer above.
